Hey, I’m Mel,

I’m definitely not a superhero—but I do believe we’re all capable of living with bold faith and deep wonder when we’re anchored in who God is. That’s really what Modern Wonder Woman is all about. It’s a space to explore faith, theology, and everyday life in a way that’s honest, hope-filled, and grounded in the goodness of God.

 

By trade, I’m a communicator and pastor with a background in policing and a whole lot of life experience in between. I hold a Bachelor of Theology majoring in Ancient Language (Biblical Greek and Hebrew - yep, I'm that kind of nerd!), and I’m especially passionate about helping people engage with the Bible in ways that are deep, faithful, and real. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when Scripture comes alive in everyday life—and I want to help bridge that gap for others too.

 

I love reading, running, hiking, long chats and good coffee. I believe that theology matters, that it is for everyone, and that your faith can be both deep and down-to-earth. You don’t need all the answers to walk in wonder—just a willingness to show up, stay curious, and take the next step. If that’s you, welcome.
